The little readers are now ready to devour more information and concepts. More practice and repetition of various gross and fine motor activities ensure that they are ready for formal schooling. The repeated use of the neural pathways will strengthen their synapses. Synapses that are rarely used will grow weak and are likely to be eliminated in the pruning process. Strengthening the synapses support your child’s learning, memory, and other cognitive abilities.
